TRIIP Festival Terms & Conditions
Please take the time to look through our terms and conditions before booking. By clicking agree and paying for your ticket you are hereby accepting the below and enter into a contract with TRIIP Festival Festival in which both parties have an obligation to the respective duties. If you are booking for multiple people you are required to share this with them and agree on their behalf.
Booking terms
You are required to pay a deposit to secure your festival ticket and accommodation. Under no circumstance is this deposit refundable.
If you choose to pay with a payment plan or deposit, the full balance of your booking is due on the date specified at the time of booking prior to the event. TRIIP Festival reserves the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received and the deposit will not be refunded.
Our Cancellation Policy applies to any cancellation by the customer of a booking, including where paid for using the payment plan or deposit. Please note, tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. If at Triip Festival's discretion, ticket cancellation is accepted, you may lose your deposit as well as any previous installments that you have paid through the payment plan or deposit.
Postponement of the ticket for the following year is done at the discretion of the organisers and on case by case basis only.
Changing the name/transferring a booking to a new person is allowed but only by discretion of TRIIP Festival and only with the explicit consent of the booking holder. This cannot be done within 7 days of the festival.
You confirm that at the time of booking you will be at the age of 18 or older on the first day of the festival. If you fail to provide an up to date proof of identification (passport or driving license) you will be refused entry to TRIIP Festival and rejected with no refund.
Cancellation of the event
TRIIP Festival reserves the right to cancel the whole or part of the event in any circumstance deemed necessary, especially when customer and staff safety are in question.
In no circumstances will we refund for external bookings, such as flights and accommodation externally booked..
TRIIP Festival strongly advises all clients to purchase travel insurance prior to attending the festival. Each customer is 100% responsible for any loss, penalties, fees, or other financial consequences arising out of booking a trip or the cancellation of a trip.
Customer Travel
All customers are responsible for ensuring they have the right documents and validity on their passport before travel. TRIIP Festival will not reimburse any costs or loss of trip for these circumstances.
TRIIP Festival will not absorb any costs incurred from changes in the Brexit situation and therefore reserves the right to pass any costs on to the customers in instances such as a drastic change in exchange rate.
Customers are responsible to keep up to date with latest EU travel changes in accordance with Brexit changes. TRIIP Festival will try to advise at all times on these changes but cannot be responsible for ensuring customers have all the information. Please check the Government's website for the most up to date information.
All customers are responsible for researching if they are in need of any medical advice before traveling to TRIIP Festival.
Your conduct
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are entering into an agreement that your conduct will be reasonable in all aspects of the trip, towards staff, other patrons, suppliers and the general public.. TRIIP Festival reserves the right to eject any customer from the festival if deemed to be behaving in a way deemed unacceptable to reasonable behaviour. This will result in the festival wristband being cut off and no refund made. Unreasonable behaviour included but is not limited to, drunk and disorderly, sexual harassment, aggressive behaviour, racist, sexist and homophobic behaviour and drug misuse.
Suppliers of accommodation hire and other aspects of the trip reserve their rights to refuse service to any customer they wish. No refund will be made in this instance from TRIIP Festival.
Consumption of alcohol is acceptable in accordance with Maltese regulation.
TRIIP Festival operates an absolute ZERO tolerance for drugs at the festival. Including the surrounding areas and accommodation. If found under the influence, dealing or in possession of drugs you will categorically be handed over to legal authorities.
In the case of any of the above, TRIIP Festival may ban a patron from any future events as well as partner events.
6. Disputes
All complaints are required in writing and Rise Festival is obliged to respond within 28 days of receipt.
Any legal disputes will be governed by Maltese Law only.
Equal Access
TRIIP festival will in all cases try to accommodate all disabilities with notification. If you fail to notify TRIIP Festival of a special requirement we cannot take responsibility for your loss of activity.
9. Name Changes - Name changes are charged at £10 (GBP) per name change.
**TRIIP Festival reserves the right to update these terms and conditions.
11. Travel Restrictions
Any conditions in relation to Covid-19 travel restrictions which result in the event unable to go ahead completely will be treated as force majeure.
If such travel requirements do not cause the event to be stopped and the event can still go ahead, no refunds or offerings of alternatives will be given. Travel requirements could include but are not limited to PCR testing, health certificates, quarantining and other such policies by Maltese governments or local authorities.
Whilst all these circumstances are ever changing and are out of our control, TRIIP Festival remains at the liberty of the law. All customers are responsible for taking the appropriate measures. TRIIP Festival therefore takes no responsibility for customer expenses incurred if entry to the festival or country is denied.
12. REFUNDS
Refunds are only considered if the Event is (i) cancelled in full and not rescheduled (if the Event is partially cancelled your refund will be a proportionate partial refund) or (ii) materially altered which is a change (other than a rescheduling) which, in Our opinion, makes the Event materially different to the Event that ticket purchasers, taken generally, could reasonably expect. The following are not deemed to be ‘material alterations’: changes to the Event line-up; adverse weather conditions; changes to individual band members; curtailment of the Event where the majority of the Event is performed; and delays to starting a performance or the Event.
Refunds must be requested from the point of purchase, no later than three months after the Event.
Refunds of any booking fees per ticket or per order fees are subject to the terms and conditions of the point of sale.
Personal arrangements relating to the Event including, but not limited to, travel, subsistence and accommodation are at your own risk and We shall not be liable for any losses incurred from personal arrangements or wasted expenditure beyond the ticket refund.
